The Sunday Times paper and its publisher, Wijeya News Papers Ltd is the chief promoter, sponsor and have the ownership rights of STBC. The club is hosted by Kingsbury Hotel Colombo for its monthly meetings during the period from August 2018 to August 2019. The club was stablished in year 1994, is one of the longstanding clubs in the country today. The purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal and professional development to be the leaders of their respective fields of employment. Currently I function as an immediate past president and the executive committee member from August 2017 to date, was the President during August 2016 to July 2017, also held the positions of Vice President, General Secretary, Assistant Treasure during the period from 2011 to 2017 and general the member since 2001.
