Hands on experience
I have gained extensive experience in all key areas attribute to capital and money market over the course of my 24-year career in investment banking and primary dealership sector, which covers in the areas of treasury, corporate finance, portfolio fund management, margin trading, money brokering including other related areas and held a number of leadership positions during the specified period. In addition to the investment banking activities, the preparation of business project report and evaluation of project proposal has been an addition to my professional forte.
Business Project Report Preparation, 2015 to present
I have compiled and completed over 30 project reports during the period under review in diversified sectors such as investment banking, agriculture, constructions, tourism and information technology. The scope of assignment covers a vast area such as testing the business concepts, developing methodology and processes, implementation of strategies, workflow solutions, value chain system analysis and improvements, technical evaluation and financial analysis.
Technical Review Member, Nov 2017 to present
Additionally, I serve as a Technical Review Group (TRG) Member. In this role I am responsible for business concept and project evaluation of the agriculture sector modernization project of International Development Association (IDA) and the World Bank since 24th November 2017. The World bank is partnered with the Government of Sri Lanka with the intention to upscale the agriculture sector in the country and is implemented through the Ministry of Primary Industries. As at date there are 146 agricultural business projects have been evaluated by me, and the total projects investments were amounting over USD 60 million.CDB
